Foam

Our foam range – quality and experience

The foams we process and distribute are the types most commonly used by furniture manufacturers and upholsterers. Thanks to our many years of professional experience and the continuous development of our suppliers, our products meet high standards of comfort and quality.

Of course, we also produce foam cut to custom sizes and shapes in two dimensions. Feel free to contact us with your unique ideas.

Classification of foam sponges

According to chemical structure:

Foam rubbers can be divided into two main groups:

  • Polyether-polyol-based foams (ether foams)
  • Polyester-polyol-based foams (ester foams)

By hardness:

Polyurethane foams range from super soft to rigid hard types.

In practice, we distinguish between four main hardness categories. In order for the finished product to be not only aesthetic, but also durable and comfortable, it is essential to select the sponge that is most suitable for the intended use.

The most commonly used types of standard sponges

N2540

The N2540 foam is primarily recommended for the manufacture of children's and youth mattresses, as it provides adequate support for loads of up to 60 kg. In a thinner version, it can also be used as a mattress topper, and its cost-effectiveness makes it a popular choice for dormitories and workers' hostels.

N3240

The N3240 foam is a more flexible yet stable solution, ideal for loads of up to 85 kg. It is excellent for making standard mattresses and mattress pads, but with the right thickness, it is also often used as seating for garden furniture, guest beds, seat cushions, and hammocks.

N3543

The N3543 type is a slightly harder than average foam sponge that can withstand loads of up to 90 kg. Due to its durability and good load-bearing capacity, it is also ideal for upholstered furniture, seat cushions and hammocks, provided that the appropriate thickness is selected.

N4060

Cold foams (HR foams)

Cold foams are key materials in modern furniture and mattress manufacturing. Thanks to their special production process at lower temperatures:

  • they perfectly follow the contours of the body
  • they have good air permeability
  • they retain their shape over the long term
  • they provide better support and comfort than traditional foams

Technical and special foams

In addition to the above, we also sell foams suitable for technical purposes:

  • Bulpren foams – for air filtration
  • Filtren foams – for water filtration
  • Egg-crate foams – for sound insulation and packaging
  • Heterogeneous (hard) foams – for vibration damping and packaging

Special requirements

If you have any questions about special foam materials or specific applications that are not listed here, please feel free to contact our colleagues—we will be happy to help you find the right solution.
